So after three weeks of being “temporarily deactivated,” a rep from Lyft finally reached out to me. In a nutshell, they’re siding with a rider that reported me. They asked me to prove that I did nothing wrong. I’m like, “WTF?”
So I said to them that I’m basically guilty until proven innocent, and they responded that they were not the government. I’m like, “Duh!” So I told them that even if I had evidence of the contrary that o wouldn’t give them anything, based on how they were treating me. Then I hung up on them.
So here’s the thing now: any positive or glowing review that I ever gave of Lyft is officially null and void – they’re dead to me. Lyft was good in most areas, but their support always was the worst. The only time I was able to get anything accomplished with them was by reaching out to them via their Twitter feed. Now, I’m done with them. Good riddance.
Oh, and they went the extra mile by deactivating my ability to even be a rider. So yeah, I’m so done with them.
In sports, you’re only as good as your weakest player. And Lyft’s weakest point is their support. That makes them a bad company to support. I can’t tell you the number of times I wanted to bring something to Lyft’s attention, but I knew it was going nowhere – so I didn’t. They have a lot of room for improvement, But that’s not my problem.
Rest in poop, Lyft. I hope you fail.
