So apparently, Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp were all down for a majority of yesterday… big whoop?
I could care less about the first one, but apparently, it was big enough of a deal that it made the news last night. Also, there’s an apparent Facebook whistleblower that claims that Facebook is putting its interest ahead of its own users.
SHOCKER! lol
If you haven’t figured it out yet, Facebook doesn’t give a damn about you as a person – only about your info. Moreover, it works to censor your content, if it doesn’t meet its standards.” I was personally censored on Facebook earlier this year.
Look, I can tell you all about my beef with Facebook, but I’ll just say this: Facebook is quickly becoming a company that is “too big to fail.” Meaning, it positions itself as a bigger-than-life company alongside the likes of Amazon, Walmart, McDonald’s, and a few others that somehow have a big grip on the economy – so big that it feels monopolistic. It’s a scary position to see a global company in, just because they start against the rules and standards of what makes a company successful, and stay successful in spite of it all.
But I’m needlessly ranting. Bottom line, I would love it if Facebook would go the way of Blockbuster, Toys R Us, and a few other notable defunct companies, and just disappear now.
