So I started a new job last month, and today is the first weekend I’ve worked in a long time for a callcenter. So far, it’s pretty slow.
I waited upwards of 40 minutes just to get my first call. And that call came with some technical difficulties on my end. Otherwise, today is pretty chill – and I hope it stays that way.
Being that I hadn’t written anything in my personal blog for a while now, I thought I’d take a moment to catch up on things.
So our Van that we’ve had since August of 2017 has legally bit the dust. It’s still drives me, but it would cost more to get it fixed properly and registered than it’s worth.
I went to the tire shop for my incremental rotation, and the tech informed me that the tires have outlived their usage, and that I’d need new tires. I told him that it wasn’t worth replacing and that I’d be taking it home.
As per the mechanic, the tires may have about 100 miles of usage (on the high side) left in them. So now the vehicle is out of commission.
In other news, I launched a podcast last January. I’m making a commitment to do at least 12 episodes, or go to the end of July – whichever comes last. It is a political podcast, so so if it’s not your cup of tea then don’t listen. I will however encourage you to give it a listen, even if for just a little bit.
Back to my job. Even though I’d rather be working for myself, this job is allowing me to bring in some stable income. And hopefully, I can get my ducks in a row, so that I can work for myself again in the near future. I’m also doing my best to make my podcast my “second job,” in the hopes that it’ll generate some supplemental income.
Anyways, I’ll do what I can to update you more in another entry. Gotta run for now. As always, thanks for reading.
